Following the conclusion of their previous IT service contract, HWA initiated a comprehensive review of their IT service requirements and vendor options. In response to the evolving global IT landscape, the organisation opted to transition to a new provider better aligned with their current and future needs.

During initial engagement sessions with Mason Infratech, it was agreed that a full transformation of HWA’s critical business applications and on-site server infrastructure was necessary. These systems, which previously required ongoing performance management and support, as well as robust recovery and continuity measures, were identified as areas where operational efficiency could be significantly improved. The objective was to optimise day-to-day processes and enhance the return on investment in IT services, with a strategic focus on migrating towards a cloud-based service model.

As part of Mason Infratech’s service offering, their technical team is delivering both practical hardware support and comprehensive Microsoft tenant management.

After establishing our support process and conducting a series of investigations into existing services we were able to work through an agreed programme of immediate requirements before establishing a regular review process with clear measures and objectives that aligned with HWA's business requirements.

The reviews are now completed on a monthly basis and provide an efficient and effective way to manage all of the support services provided by Mason Infotech. The reviews facilitate our understanding of the commercial, operational and regulatory demands on HWA and the opportunity to feedback on the progress of any current projects.

The move to Microsoft's Entra Active Directory, improved cyber security and resilience along with hardware performance measures provides HWA Consulting with a highly effective, agile IT infrastructure promoting a highly flexible, collaborative working environment.
