rate-adaptive broadband
Our rate-adaptive products are engineered to give your business the ability to receive the best possible speed attainable on your telephone line. These services include:
ADSL Max
Aimed at site offices and remote locations, this service includes an upload speed of up to 448kbps and download speed of 8mb.
ADSL Max Premium
The traffic for the Max Premium service is prioritised within BT’s network above a standard Max connection. This prioritisation allows for an upload speed of up to 832kbps and download speed of 8mb.
ADSL2+
By doubling the capacity of a standard broadband connection, ADSL2+ (also known as ADSL2plus) has the potential to reach speeds of up to 1.5mb upload and 24mb download.
Annex M
Founding itself on the ADSL2+ technology and moving bandwidth from the download speed, Annex M has the means of reaching speeds of up to 2.3mb upload and 16mb download.
symmetric broadband
SDSL
Intended for businesses that require an enhanced service level over ADSL; SDSL services are symmetric, meaning that the upload speed and the download speed are the same. This service is available at a 1mb and 2mb connection. Our clients have found SDSL ideal when using VOIP technology and to prevent ‘hold-ups’ due to low upload speeds.
private connections
Direct Internet Access
Also known as a Leased Line or a Dedicated Line, this service is a private line which carries voice and data traffic from your business. The information sent through a lease line travels along a dedicated secure channel, eliminating congestion that occurs in shared networks.
