ESET NOD32 Antivirus for Microsoft Exchange brings lightweight and powerful protection for heavy-duty email servers. It offers multithreaded background scanning for higher performance, and rule-based predictive scanning.
If MS Exchange Server is used as a gateway, ESET NOD32 Antivirus tests all incoming mail. The program automatically generates detailed log files and enables administrators to send virus detection messages using LAN or email messages.

Improved Architecture
Enables running the scanning engine inside the ESET Control Center in a process independent of the Microsoft Exchange Server. This provides additional fault tolerance. This is the default on the 64-bit version and optional for the 32-bit version.
More detailed background scanning configuration
Background scans can be configured to run only on messages received in a certain time period. Additionally the product may be configured to scan only messages with attachments.
Rules based on mailbox name
Rules can be now executed based on the name of mailbox.
Performance monitor
Log file can now include performance information, which can be used by the administrator to optimise configuration settings.
